The back of this 3.35 inch bronze cross is inscribed in German with:"I am the Good Shepherd. I give my life for my sheep. I know them and they know me. I have come, so that they might have life and have it more abundantly." This piece made by German artist Egino Weinert has devoted his life to creating some of the most unique and distinct pieces of liturgical art for spaces of worship around the world as well as for the Vatican Museum.
